FORD MUSTANG 56th BIRTHDAY

17/04/2020
Today, April 17, 2020, is a big day for Ford fans. On this day 56 years ago, the first Mustang was introduced at the New York World’s Fair. Henry Ford II unveiled the original pony car to a large crowd, while Ford dealerships around the country began selling. In the first day alone, an incredible 22,000 Mustangs were sold. It has been said that the company projected sales around 100,000 for the first year, but Americans blew demand for the car out of the water, purchasing 419,000 of them in the first year. And the rest, as they say, is history.

The montage shows just a small number of Ford Mustangs that I have photographed for various publications, which include Fast Ford and Street Machine magazine as well as private commissions for owners from various owners clubs. Let us hope that next year we can go out and celebrate the occasion, stay safe and hope you enjoy the recent posts.
