RONDOS FOOTBALL ACADEMY PHOTOGRAPHY

05/04/2017
The Rondos Academy is an advanced technical football academy that focuses on the development of players from the ages of 5 up to 16. The main focus of The Rondos Academy is on improving the technical ability of players, working on individual ball skills incorporating ball manipulation, touch direction, touch speed and passing & receiving. We then link the individual skills to Rondos possession practices that develop the players game understanding and decision making using overload and underlay situations that link to the game. All Rondos coaches are FA qualified with both first aid and child protection accreditations including fully enhanced DBS disclosures.

Sport is one of those photographic areas that rely on timing and capturing the dynamics and atmosphere of the game. My brief was to capture a story of the evening, action, static images as filler images for the website and the venue itself. I used the Nikon 300mm f4E PF ED VR AF-S Lens, at only 755 grammes it weighs nothing at all but produces clean sharp images, plus its still very fast in terms of focusing when paired with the D4S. The other lens attached to the D810 covering the football photography in Kent was the D810 with the 70-200mm and 14-24mm lens, both covering incidental and wider scene imagery.
