IFS VIDEO DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY IN LONDON

13/12/2011
Photographs from London for the IFS
This was a very relaxed affair and after talking to the producer and video crew I began taking images in between the interviews, making sure that the sound of the shutter didn't intrude on the sound recording, the 1D has a silent shutter feature which is excellent, it's on,y drawback is that you can only do one shot rather then a continuous burst, not something that I would need today anyway. The IFS are based in Monument Square and have amazing views over the city and Tower Bridge, as the weather was sunny I took some panorama photos from the roof of their building, great views of the a monument as well as the Ghurkin and Lloyds building.

Once the filming had been completed I then wrapped up the days photography with a variety of images from around the financial district, these included Lloyds, Leadenhall Market, Bank of England and some general stock images which the IFS can use for filler pictures on the web and in a variety of literature. After arriving back in Canterbury for 6pm it was then over to Canterbury Cathedral for St Edmund's School for their annual carol concert.
