Product photography from teh MCCH Enterprise centres in Basildon & Harlow
The framing that is made in the workshops covers all aspects, these included frames with mounts and glass as well as mirrors. Their was a nice spot in the workshop which had a lot of natural light coming in from the large windows, with a large piece of white card as a backdrop all seemed easy enough, fine for the eatingards and frame samples but for the glazed pictures a large piece of black card was needed to block outbthenlight and to loose the reflections on the glass. The camera was set up on the tripod with aperture set at 5.6 and exposures of around 4 seconds this was enough with over exposure of one stop to give a nice clean sharp image, by using the exposure compensation this lifted the subject and background to give a nice clean image.
After Braintree it was a short drive to Harlow where a second MCCH enterprise centre produced garden furniture all crafted from wood. With the workshop being a busy work place the only area that could be utilised was the aluminium shutter outside, with the colourful stained chairs against the backdrop it done a good job of making the items stand out as opposed to being in a warehouse. Finished the day off by finishing off some loose ends at the office in Canterbury, second full day and all seems to be going well at number 46.
