BROOKLANDS CAR PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE

30/10/2011
Firbird, 356, F40 & Gordon Keeble car photography
The weather was ideal for todays course as it presented many challenges for the photographers, drizzly, flat grey skies and no direct lighting, making the cars look fresh and vibrant meant some manual controls, these included the exposure controls and controlling the depth of field and ISO levels available on the users cameras. We started off with Concorde and the air field which always provides a great back drop for the mix of cars available. Just prior to lunch we used the historic banking for some group photos and individual photos of the F40 before it left for the day. After lunch we concentrated on the surrounding garages and warehouses at Brooklands, it was also a chance to introduce another element to the course, off camera flash which with todays dreary weather showed how you can enhance the car and backdrops with one or two remote flash guns.

Their will shortly be courses announced for 2012 on this website, still spaces available on Sunday 27th November which will be the last course of the year, gift vouchers are also available. Please contact me for further details.
