BLOG 2021

The BMW M3 and M4 have been out for a couple of months now, after the initial controversy over the front grill the journalists have now focused more on what a great drivers car it is and a truly special addition to the M performance heritage, todays shoot was a twin one with the coupe and saloon...
Barretts BMW in Canterbury kindly loaned me their Toronto Red M4 coupe, with the black accents and carbon fibre roof it really stood to against the blue sky and is certainly a head turner. I met up with new M3 saloon owner Steve who has just picked his car up from Barretts, in Brooklands Grey metallic it gave a nice contrast against its coupe equivalent. I have driven the M3 back in March and in the two door guise it feels very similar to me, if a little spikier and even moire rear bias, but that could just be me and a heavier right foot!

The car photography is for a future edition of BMW Car magazine where the focus weill be on owner Steve's impressions of the car, his a serial BMW owner but just come out of a seriously modified Audi RS3 so his thoughts on the M3 will be interesting. It was also nice to photograph the M3 as it has the standard leather seats as opposed to the optional carbon seats that were in the M4. If you are interested in driving the M range then contact Barretts as they have the whole range available to drive.
