FORD MUSTANG FAST FLEET EDITORIAL

15/01/2021
I have owned the Mustang GT for nearly three years now, the longest i've ever owned a vehicle and hopefully it will be around for a little while longer. Over the last month it has been treated to a days detailing in preparation for a photo shoot for Fast Ford magazine, plus it has just had a third year service at GT101 in Colchester, the go to place in the South East for performance cars.

Back in November the Mustang had some new Steeda anti roll bars fitted, this was in preparation for a track day at Goodwood motor circuit, this was rearranged due to Covid for March this year, we'll wait and see if this goes ahead. Fair to say since ownership the car has had a number of handling and cosmetic changes to give it a more direct feel and presence on the road. One question you always get asked when you own 5 litre V8 muscle car is what is the miles per gallon? Well 27000 miles and it has returned 22mpg which I think it pretty decent for a big heavy car that you don't buy for its fuel efficiency.

Hoping that the next few Fast Fleet articles will feature some events as we head in to Spring and the weather warms up. The articles on the car also feature in the Mustang Owners Club GB magazine.
