FASHION PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY

Over the years I have covered portraits for models, actors and run fashion photography workshops in Kent, London and Surrey. The models have been diverse and for me portrait photography, especially fashion is the most creative area in my work...

As mentioned I run photography courses on fashion, portraiture and also one to one tuition as well. Working with a professional model gives you confidence to try different poses and use an array of locations, empty warehouses, car interiors, cafes and town centres.

One of my favourite photos was taken back in 2011, it was one of my first competition entries which was fro Professional Photographer magazine, titled "The Driver" it was taken at the end of one of my fashion portrait workshops. Model Sarah was inside a Bentley S2 and due to an onslaught;aught of Winter showers we captured some various images inside the car. The use and mood worked really well, when I entered the competition I was aware off some areas being blown out so was not expecting anything from the judging. To my surprise it was the runner up in the Beauty and Fashion catergory, overall there were 4500 entires in ten categories so to finish in second place was a massive achievement, the awards were announced one evening at an art gallery in Cheltenham where the work of the winers was on display.

I am looking forward to setting some new dates in the future for more photography workshops, these will include automotive, fashion and also the option of one to one workshops. For more details please contact me if you have any requirements in terms of one to one training.
