Alex Moore's BMW M3 is a stunning example, even with 230,000 kilometres on the clock it looks pristine. Alex has owned the car for twenty one years and apart from general wear and tear items the only modification is the exhaust. The car looks at its best in the Alpine White colour scheme, with some tricolour badges and decals on the car and engine bay, no where near as much M Power branding that the new cars get.

We used a recent location that I had used for Brands Hatch Morgans demonstrators, the impressive London Golf Club, situated a stones throw from Kent motorsport circuit, Brands Hatch. The car was receiving a lot of comments and praise from the passing golfers as it really is an 80's icon.

The photography was made easier due to the blue skies and the paintwork on the car, the Profoto lighting was used subtly to add some definition to the outline of the car and to lift the shaded areas under the car. I covered the photos mainly with the 24-70mm wide zoom and the driving shots with the 70-200mm telephoto zoom, this also worked well to frame the Lion statue over the top of the car, one of my favourite images from the shoot.

Watch out for a future issue of BMW Car magazine where Alex's M3 will be featured.
