BLOG 2019

Paul Barrett MBE and Director of Barretts of Canterbury was installed yesterday as the new High Sheriff of Kent, the event took place in the picturesque Kent village of Wickhambreaux...
Paul was awarded the MBE last year for his charitable work and had been invited by Her Majesty the Queen to take the role of the High Sherif of his home County for 2019/20. The ceremony took place in the Church of St.Andrew in Wickhambreaux with a reception afterwards that took place at the beautiful Country House and gardens of the Quaives, a property that was once owned by Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac.

The brief for the days photography was to capture the event as it unfolded, from the lunch that took place with family and dignitaries prior to the ceremony, the service itself and then the more informal reception drinks and buffet afterwards. The photos will be used in a future issue of Kent Life and other local papers and online news outlets.
