Canterbury Christ Church University held the first of their series of public lectures to a packed audience at their Augustine House library, with over 450 people in attendance to hear land speed record holder Richard Noble...
Richard James Anthony Noble, OBE is a Scottish entrepreneur who was holder of the land speed record between 1983 and 1997. He was also the project director of ThrustSSC, the vehicle which holds the current land speed record, set at Black Rock Desert, Nevada in 1997. Richard gave an insightful talk to the packed audience about his career and the future of engineering in the United Kingdom.

The lecture photography was to capture Richard Noble in conversation with the Vice Principal and part of his talk. The photos will be used for online and printed material locally and nationally.
