COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY IN KENT AND SUSSEX

Portrait photography for Canterbury Christ Church University
The group photos and portraits in East Grinstead for the fire brigade were for a donation made by the brigade to the burns unit at Queen Mary Hospital for £500. It seems with the local papers short on photographers now that clients are calling in freelancers to cover the shoots, a sign of the times and with some local papers falling by the wayside it will probably be only a matter of time until we are viewing the locals on our phones and iPads rather then having them delivered through the door.

Back to Canterbury to cover the car dealer photography for Motorline and Barretts, once completed I then went over to Augustine House for Christ Church University to cover a series of portraits for them. These profile pictures were of medical students and to be used on a range of brochures that were going to be produced in the New Year. Some nice low afternoon sun produced enough natural light through the large glass windows to produce consistent results. Settings were 1/80th @ 2.8-4.0 depending on the subject in terms of skin tones and clothing. Now back to the office for some editing!
