NEW YORK PHOTOGRAPHY DAY 3

Central Park in full autumn glory
Sunday and more of a relaxed day in Central Park, this 1000acre site sits amidst the hustle and bustle of New York and on a Sunday morning was full of New Yorkers and tourists relaxing, whether they were jogging, reading, taking photos or watching the musicians and artists performing around the park it is a special place to be. We took a trip around the zoo as well which houses polar bears, penguins, seals and a variety of birds. After wandering around and taking in all of the autumn scenes we then took a trip down 5th avenue, full of designer outlets and model wannabes parading the streets. The big event of the holiday for me was coming up though, the Foo Fighters at Madison Square Garden! After getting in to the venue early and soaking up the atmosphere of this worldwide famous arena we were entertained by the Joy Formidable and veteran rockers Social Distortion who warmed up the crowd nicely for one of the biggest bands in the world. I heard from someone behind me that they were going to be playing a three hour set, the last time I saw that was when Metallica played in the early 90's, Lo and behold the Foo's didn't disappoint and ripped through a catalogue of classics and album tracks from their 16 year history. They finished up with a seven song encore along with a guest appearance by Joan Jett. With
