Photography training for Shepherd Neame Brewery
I have covered work for Shepherd Neame now over the last few years and their communication, marketing and web team had asked me to go in for a day and run through the basics of how to get the most out of their Canon photography equipment. We went through the basics first of all, very much like one of my beginners courses with the intention to start using manual controls of the camera and seeing the benefits that this can give the end results. The main criteria for the people present was to be able to take good images in low light, with and without flash, product shots, portraits and how to get good images in camera so that they can then be sent to the press and web team without any post production.

We had a few practical sessions which included group photos, single portraits using natural, reflected and flash lighting. We ended the day going through manual white balance, basic editing in photoshop along with some off camera flash set ups with the Canon 550D.
