ARCHITECTURAL, CONFERENCE, EDUCATION AND AUTOMOTIVE PHOTOGRAPHY

Commercial photography in Ashford, Canterbury and Maidstone
The conference was to cover workshops, performances as well as a keynote speech from guest Mark Jaffrey, with his 25 years’ experience as a creative leader of high impact campaigns, recently championing the Music Manifesto – Mark is was behind one of the most successful arts education campaigns in UK history. His speech was about the current state of education across the UK and how music is perceived. The speech was ended by two performances from students, the last one by a band called Chameleon whose ages range from 11-14, great talent and hopefully one to look out for in the future.

Just after 11am I then set off to cover some car dealer photography for Motorline Renault in Maidstone and Ashford, then over to Eastwell Manor to take a couple of this amazing mansion, the photos were for a wedding invite for Claire and David's wedding in March next year, perfect weather with a rich blue sky to compliment this historic building. Next stop Canterbury and St Edmund's private school, two shoots had been set up, the first was to cover some rehearsal photographs of "A Chorus Line" which the students were preparing for their annual End of year production. After some dance routines I took some individual portraits of the performers as well. The session finished with some orchestral photos of the students in the music studio, not a great deal of space to move around but the 50mm lens proved to be a flexible lens, love using this as it reminds me of my old film camera with it's 50mm fixed lens, you always have to work for the picture rather then just zooming in and taking the easy option. Last stop and over to Barretts Honda to cover some of their used car photography.
