SHIP AND TRADES INN CHATHAM MARITIME

Lee from the Ship & Trades at Chatham Maritime
I had been sent a photo which had been taken some time ago which showed the barmen in the cellar with some casks in the background, this was to be the basis for today's photo, just with barrels in the shot to show the barman inspecting the ale that had just been poured. I covered a few images along the lines of the brief with Lee, lighting was a single speed light on a stand, a second light was added but made the cellar look more like a studio, a single light on 1/4 power produced a much warmer tone to the image. Shutter speed of 1/80 @ F3.5 ISO 400 to bring in some ambient light. Just to give the client a few more options I covered a few of Lee in the bar area and outside, again using a single speed light just to lift the lighting under Lee's face as the light outside was very flat. Focal length on all of the photos was 50mm, I used the 24-70mm just to give a bit of flexibility if needed.
