BARRETTS JAGUAR WESTGATE CAR SHOWROOM PHOTOGRAPHY

The up to date Jaguar showroom photographs will be used for the new Barretts of Canterbury webiste which will be launched early next year and also for other marketing purposes online. I decided to take the showroom photographs late afternoon, this time of the year 4-4.30pm after a bright day is ideal, the sky still has a rich blue to it and this enhances the natural colours of the buildings and the warm artificial lighting compliments the sky.
The time was also perfect traffic wise as i wanted to get some clean images of the showroom but also some with traffic trails, with the traffic having a steady flow to it their wasn't any stationary cars and the light trails were not too full on either. The oncoming headlights gave some extra illumination to the inside of the Westgate Towers and I under exposed for the showroom itself with 1/3 under give the scene a little contrast. Settings were ISO 50 30 seconds at F13 for the majority of photos, although the scene with the showroom in the foreground was taken at 25 seconds at F18 ISO 50 +0.33.
