NISSAN UK CAR PHOTOGRAPHY TRAINING BROOKLANDS

06/09/2013
Four designers from Nissan Uk were present today to learn more about the range of Canon, Nikon and Sony digital cameras that they use on a daily basis. The photography they cover could be from anything including mouldings, clay modelling and motor shows, the timing of the course was ideal as they group are off to the Frankfurt Motor Show next week. The course covered the basics from aperture to ISO settings and the best way in which to avoid distracting obstacles and reflections. The morning session was based using a Nissan Qashqai and the garages at Brooklands, the team were interested in getting well composed detail photos as these play a large part in the designs they work with. After lunch we then set off over to Mercedes Benz World which boasts a three floor showroom and a test circuit, with classic SL's and modern Formula one cars on display it gave everybody plenty of scope for some great images. The day ended with a beautiful 1930's Ford Prefect which showed that simple design and engineering could still look great and this was the groups favourite car to photograph during the day.

My next car photography course at Brooklands is on Sunday 22nd September, priced at £150 this includes lunch and a variety of classic and modern cars to photograph against the amazing backdrops at Brooklands Museum. One to one and corporate group bookings are also available, please contact me for further details.
