LENLEY'S OF CANTERBURY FURNITURE PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY

20/05/2013
After viewing the house a few weeks ago it was decided that an overcast day would be more beneficial as early afternoon sun would be pouring through the skylight and causing a lot of unwanted shadows on the furniture and against the white walls. The advantage of shooting the furniture products in the large extension was the cleanliness with its white walls and light stone flooring, this would make each of the sofa displays stand out, with a selection of accessories on hand as well it would give the right feel of being in someones house as well.

Although it was raining on and off some covers over the gazebo style roof creating a dry environment for the camera to be set up on a tripod, I also used a polariser for some of the photographs, this would come in handy for the pictures on the wall with heavy reflective surface and also the glass table tops. As the light was flat and neutral I just used the natural light available.
