Ford have produced over ten million Mustang's since its birth in 1964, so their are plenty to choose from when looking to cover an editorial shoot on them. One has stood out for me over the last few months though, a stunning two owner Mach 1 from 1969...
Roy and Jackie have owned the Mach 1 Mustang for five years now, it made its first appearance in the UK after a five year restoration project at Ford's technical centre in Dunton last year. Finished in Lime Gold paint metallic it looks absolutely stunning, on a perfect summer's day in rural Hertfordshire among an orchard the car looked perfect.

The car photography will be used for a future issue of Fast Ford magazine and also the Mustang Owners Club Round Up magazine, with this in mind I had to produce a variety of different angles and cover an array of interior photos as well, plus some close up details to show the quality of the finish of the car. Roy also has a few more cars in his garage, but these will be revealed at another time. Lighting was courtesy of the Profoto location set up, the compact A1 and B2 which complicated the sun to lift the shadows.
