CORPORATE HEADSHOTS KENT UNIVERSITY

02/07/2018
Portraits depend on light, good clean natural light and I had three options available today, my main location was a small office in the School of English, University of Kent at the Canterbury campus, a small room with some window light combined with the Profoto A2 and A1 (to light the background) gave a mix of natural and ambient light. As well as the typical portrait format I had been asked to cover some in landscape as well, these would fit in with the new University website and could also be used for editorial use.

I used the 24-70mm lens today, ordinarily I would use the 85mm prime or 70-200mm, the shorter zoom juts gave a little more flexibility and more freedom to shoot wider if needed in the smaller space.
