AARDMAN ANIMATIONS WORKSHOP

20/09/2017
Over the course of three days, Aardman and LRCH visited four local schools in order to create an educational and fun experience. The workshops involved characters from their many series and feature films, and educate the children on how they create their well-known clay characters and an insight into how stop-motion animation works. Participants will also had the opportunity to make and take home their own Shaun the Sheep model.

One of the schools that LRCH and Aardman visited in September was the Cherry Orchard Primary School in Ebbsfleet Valley. The Cherry Orchard Primary School will be opening in September 2017 with state of the art facilities. It is part of the Leigh Academies Trust and is located in the up and coming Ebbsfleet Garden City. The fun, interactive workshops taking place this Autumn will educate local children, not only about the background to some of their favourite shows, but also about the exciting plans for the entertainment resort in Swanscombe. The photography was to capture the fun and excitement of the workshop, and also to provide some group photos that would be sent out to the local and national press.
