Education photography covers a wide range of photography, today at Canterbury College I was briefed to capture images in the music studio, art department, motor mechanics and health and social care. Just using natural light and the 70-200mm F2.8 lens works well in these scenarios, the long telephoto also allows for the students to carry on with their work as you can work from a distance.
My brief is to capture life at the College and also to give plenty of space around the image, this then allows for the designers to add logos and text which will be for brochures, social media and a variety of advertising campaigns to promote Canterbury College.
