THANET COLLEGE BROADSTAIRS EDUCATION PHOTOGRAPHY

With a busy schedule ahead for Monday and Tuesday the brief was to cover the full amount of courses that are on offer at the college. The variety of photography will be used for the new prospectus for the college plus also for a higher education brochure in conjunction with Canterbury Christ Church University. Their was certainly a variety of classroom and workshop based courses to cover, including car mechanics, carpentry, hair dressing, leisure and catering which the college has a great reputation for across the county. With twenty minute slots allocated to each area it was a full on couple of days, the majority of photographs were taken with the 24-70mm lens and 50mm 1.2, giving a mix of documentary and informal portraits. Tuesday afternoon finished the shoot off with some shots around the local area as well as a visit to the Broadstairs campus of Christ Church University, nice to see some of my first year photography degree students at the campus, now in their third year and doing some great work.
