Charley Boorman for KFRS bike campaign
Charley and his riding partner Billy ward turned up just after 10am and the shoot list was a variety of Charley with the bike and some of the fire crew, we were not too sure how much time we would have as BBC and Meridian news were turning up at 10.30 so it could be a few quick images, fortunately Charley is just as you see him on TV, full of life and only too happy to take part in the photos that KFRS required. I was really impressed that he actually took time to talk to as many people as possible and he even asked for a tour of the station.
The weather was almost like a summers day, I used a single Speedlight off camera on a light stand to balance the over powering sun with the output of the flash, I then had seen a trusty old brick wall which created some nice moodier images which I had been asked to cover, these will be used on the web and for various postcards which can be given out when the bike team are at events. Bonus from the day was seeing me on Meridian news last night where they featured a piece on Charley's appearance.
