VW GOLF GTI MARK 1

My first three cars were Golfs, two Mark 1's and a Mark 2 Driver, a GTI lookalike without the power. The 1976 Golf GTI marked a long and growing tradition of everyday hatchbacks with upgraded engines in, so practicality with fun in abundance. The model shown here was from 1978 and was just a number of pristine examples of VW's history at the original museum in Wolfsburg.
