MOTOR RACING PORTRAITS

The 70-200mm lens is perfect to zoom in and out of the subjects, but early morning I was trackside and used the 300mm F4 lens, with the crop sensor of the 1D4 this gave me a focal length of 430mm, the bonus with this shot is I could pick up tiny details that the other lens would not have allowed me to do through a row of cars ready to go out on track.
