DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE CANTERBURY KENT

30/06/2013
The course is aimed at budding photographers who want to use the manual controls of their cameras and to stop using the automatic functions of their Digital cameras. We met up in Costa Coffee, a good way to start the day with a strong coffee and the informal surroundings of one of my regular haunts. With the lap top fired up we went through the basics of photography, handling the camera, lens care, memory cards and then on to using the various functions of the cameras. Once we had covered a few hours with the basics model Kelly turned up where Diane and Simon could put the theory in to practice, we concentrated on aperture priority and different ways of composition. The strong mid afternoon sun was problematic but with the aid of a reflector and pockets of shade we covered a real mix of portraits.

The next Digital SLR photography course takes place at Brooklands Museum Weybridge on Saturday 20th July, places still available at £95 which includes refreshments and light lunch. One to oNe tuition is available as well, please contact me with your requirements for these bespoke photography courses.
