ST EDMUND'S SCHOOL MUSIC AND SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY

With such a variety of subjects to cover I used mainly the 70-200mm lens which is a superb all rounder for sports photography and also great as a portrait lens, especially wide open at the F2.8 aperture. Weather was the usual mix of sun, rain and sun, the breaks of dry weather gave me the opportunity to cover some cricket photos and also some group photos of the St Edmunds choir which will be used for local press. The shoot ended with some informal photos of the boarding area common room, rather then using a wide angle I stuck with the 70mm end of the zoom lens, this also gave me the option to zoom in on the students for some candid images.
