NAPIER RAILTION AT McLAREN AUTOMOTIVE

McLaren Racing Limited, competing as McLaren F1 Team, is a British Formula One team based at the McLaren Technology Centre, Woking, Surrey, England. They are the second most successful team in Formula One history after Ferrari, having won 182 races, 12 Drivers' Championships and eight Constructors' Championships. The team is a wholly owned subsidiary of the McLaren Technology Group. The lake that sits in front of the building was resplendent on a hot Summer's day, ideal to show off the chrome finish of this historic racer from the 1930's.
The photography continued the series of locations in Surrey that Brooklands Museum were visiting as they are a finalist in the Art Fund 2018 awards. Showcasing the Railton showcases the car, history and dedication that the Museum has towards its heritage, being the first Grand Prix circuit in the UK is also a nice link with McLaren as well.
Although the weather was perfect for the car photography shoot I still used the Profoto lighting, all three this time, B1, B2 and the hand held A1 to do some back lighting and also for the reception area photos to push some additional lighting on the McLaren F1 car in the background. The photos have just started to be promoted by Brooklands on social media and will be sent around other various motoring outlets over the next few weeks.
