17/04/2018
Some of the activities covering Kent Festival of Science were led by Christ Church academics and the festival was a fantastic opportunity to engage local communities and younger generations in STEM subjects, as well as show how the University’s new KM EDGE Hub will open up the possibility to local students to study for an exciting career in technology and engineering.

The festival is primarily aimed at children from the ages of six to 13 and their parents, but there are many activities aimed at younger children, and adults of all ages will find fun and interesting things to do. The photography was to capture the excitement of the event and showcasing the various areas of expertise that the University covers, the forensic labs was one of the biggest attended with youngsters able to examine a crime scene.
