PORSCHE PANAMERA 4S PHOTOGRAPHY

21/01/2017
Porsche has designed the Panamera in a much sportier and aggressive stance then its predecessor, this market pits it up against the very best luxury saloons, most notably Bentley and Mercedes. Fair to say that this car isn't just about speed but supplying comfort to its passengers, plush materials, comfy seats and its unique hatchback design make this one of the most practical GT cars around today. Compared with the outgoing 4S, the V6 engine has shrunk to 2.9 litres but has a couple of centrally mounted ‘hot vee’ turbos plumbed in. So not only is the new engine 14kg lighter than the outgoing 3.0-litre unit but it also produces an extra 20bhp and 22lb ft more torque, it is also more economical as well. Which results in zero to 62mph (with the optional Sports Chrono package) in just 4.2sec.

Inside the car shares its technology with Audi via the TFT screens which look swish and are easy to use, the 12.3 inch screen provides all of the information you need and makes the cabin a ice place to be, especially with the added carbon fibre trim. The car photography took place around the Tonbridge area nears the dealership, some nice open country roads and the village of Shipbourne worked well for some static photos. Although it was a cold winters afternoon the sun was ablaze and being low this time of year provided some nice natural flare to the overall images. Lighting was a mix of natiaral and artificial lighting Courtney of the Profoto B1 flash. The interior detail photos were taken with the Nikon 105mm macro lens.
