BELL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY ST ALBANS

02/02/2013
The brief today was to capture some stunning exterior photos of the building and it's historical architecture, a great selling point with the agents, as well as some of the potential students enjoying the surroundings and what the school will be able to offer. After doing an initial recce of the sight it was time to take a variety of portraits of our models, the images need to be turned around quickly as the client wants to update their website and start selling places for the school as soon as possible as the bedrooms and classrooms will be refurbished by the end of March.

The only lenses I needed to sue were the 17-40mm and 24-70mm covering all of the focal ranges I needed for the shoot. The only other addition was the Lastolite tri grip reflector, a great addition which aided with the backlit images of the students, whether through the stained glass in the cloisters or outside with the low morning sun. Just after mid afternoon the shoot was completed and with the M25 clear of any problems a pleasurable drive home made the end to a perfect shoot.
