UNIVERSITY PHOTOGRAPHY AT CANTERBURY CHRIST CHURCH

As with all of the Universities photography we use students, with a dozen to choose from their was enough variety for different scenarios that the design team were looking to cover. Along with taking some formal portraits of each of the students it was then using our models in a variety of settings, classrooms, library, coffee shop and also the impressive outside terrace area which over looks the city of Canterbury.

The business school photography last time went so well that we looked at recreating the same style of photos just with new students, back in 2010 I used the 85mm 1.8 lens throughout, this time I went for the 50mm 1.2, the shorter focal length made it easier to move around for the wider shots and with the scope of apertures available made for some great diffused backgrounds.
