FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE SHEPHERD NEAME FAVERSHAM

Photographs from the fashion course at Shepherd Neame Brewery in Faversham
15/01/12
The format of these courses has primarily been about compositing, posing and technique, recently I have been including off camera flash set ups as well, this is the modern way of using portable lighting to great effect, flash guns now are powerful and flexible enough to compete with studio lighting. We used traditional ways of using light, natural with a reflector, using reflective surfaces around the venue plus single and twin off flash set ups. Favourite shot from the day was of Kelly with the two flash guns pointing directly at the camera, the use of two reflectors facing the flashguns lit the models face perfectly, settings were 1/100 @ F7.1 ISO 200. Camera and flash in manual mode with the flashguns both set at 1/4 power.I will be running another of these courses at Brooklands car museum in the Spring dates will be posted on the website soon.
