5D MARK 2

The real test came this evening for the MK2, a dining hall lit by just candle light, flash would have just killed the atmosphere and warmth of the room so I put my fastest lens on the Canon 5D mark 2 and tested it at ISO 4000, this was the lowest ISO I could use as it gave me a shutter speed of 1/50 second at 1.8, that gives you an indication of how dark it was, the quality of the image shown is unbelievable, the noise is just visible and has a really fine grain to it. This camera is always amazing me and I am sure it will do for many years to come, I understand it has just come down by $200 in the US so keep an eye out for UK prices to follow.
